ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT
The mission of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is to provide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of UNCG objectives, specifically by enhancing risk response decisions and working to identify and manage risk across the UNCG community. ERM is a process effected by a university’s Board of Trustees, senior leadership, and faculty and staff, applied in the strategy setting and across the enterprise, designed to identify potential events that may affect the entity and manage risks to be within its risk appetite, to provide reasonable assurance regarding the achievement of university objectives.
